Macau Hotels

Reviews of Hotels in Macau

For a tiny place on the map of Asia, Macau has plenty of nice hotels. After many big named casinos from Las Vegas moved in there was a boost in tourism.

But today, due to some political situations in China, Macau has seen a drop in tourist from the main land. And that’s good news for those who love to travel and stay in nice hotels but don’t want to pay throught he nose. Many 4 and 5 star hotels are more affordable now. On top of that many 3 star hotels in Macau are already very nice and affordable.

Though because many big named hotels are trying to get more guests through their doors it’s a good idea to search around. You might just find some really good deals like I did and take advantage of all the discounts big international hotels are offering.

If you’re visiting Hong Kong and have some time to spare, be sure to stop over in Macau as well. It’s not far at all and very easy to reach from Hong Kong using the TurboJET services.

Months with the Best (and Worst) Hotel Bargains in Macau

As I mentioned already many hotels in Macau are experiencing a slow down in bookings. Macau depends largely on mainland Chinese visitors with deep pockets to spend in the casinos.

Macau’s peak hotel season begins in October running through to the month of DecemberJanuary through April months are considered semi-peak periods when the weather and temperature is nice and dry. Though keep in mind January and February in Macau can be a bit nippy where the temperature dips down to 50°F (10°C) so bring a jacket.
